Updated icons are now available for you to choose for your subdepartments:
In addition, our Slack integration has been updated to use Slack's new API endpoints. This also means the Slack bot also now has the ability to automatically join Slack channels as soon as you assign them from Script Elephant.
You'll need to disconnect and reconnect your Slack integration for these changes to take effect.

New Feature: Subdepartments has entered general availability! This powerful new architecture allows you to create cues across an unlimited number of separate subdepartments. This helps teams stay organized between Audio, Lighting, Video, and General department cues.
This included UI enhancements across our script view, also included a fully refreshed version of our Run of Show view, which has been redesigned from the ground up and now includes tabs for each of those four divisions. This allows an audio engineer for example to just filter by cues from the audio department.

Enhancement: Timezones are now automatically detected when you choose a city for your production.
Previously, we required users to manually type in a timezone such as America/New_York when creating a new production. This information is now detected automatically when you fill out your city name when creating a new production, so timezones are now automatically kept up to date.

Enhancement: If your production is connected with Dropbox, the graphics table now automatically flags any graphics that might need to be re-rendered if they were created before the most recent edits or client feedback.

New Feature: Teleprompter mode has now launched! This new feature fully integrates with Script Elephant's scripting platform, including with one-click script updates, live show tracking support for the operator, and optional embedded graphic previews.
This feature works with any Mac or PC that supports a second display. Your operator can fully control and customize the teleprompter from a dashboard on their primary display. This dashboard includes per-block real-time tracking so your operator knows exactly what part of the script is visible on the teleprompter at any moment.
We also offer one-click text exports for use with third party teleprompter software.

We have updated the Run of Show view to include print buttons, along with department tab toggles to easily switch between departments.

Significant updates to the live show tracking have now launched. These include UI enhancements plus significant upgrades to connection stability.
- The browser now maintains a constant connection, so that if internet is lost or your computer goes to sleep, it will automatically reconnect as soon as internet is available.
- The controls on each page (Tracking Control and Auto Scrolling) will resume their previous states when you refresh your browser tab.
- The UI has been streamlined and made consistent across the full script and run of show views.

A comprehensive set of speed improvements have launched across the board. This includes proactive pre-rendering for any upcoming production, meaning that most pages are now pre-rendered as soon as any updates within the production are made.
With these updates, Script Elephant can now comfortably handle sessions with thousands of blocks, graphics and cues with sub-second load times.

We have added additional pages available within the resources tab, that allow you to easily download a zip file of all songs and voiceovers in your production.

We added a button in the graphics table to renumber all graphics. This will update all of their numbers to start from the lowest available graphic number. This is useful if you have deleted a lot of graphics, perhaps after duplicating a production.

We have launched a light mode version of the Run of Show view for those who prefer a cleaner rundown view. This brings our entire platform into fully supporting both light and dark modes across every modern operating system.

Behind the scenes, we have launched a monitoring platform to provide our operations team with constant health checks for every customer server while maintaining individual customer privacy and security. This allows our infrastructure team to keep our customer's servers fully patched and updated and provides us with instant feedback in the event of any performance problems or service failures across our infrastructure.
This also includes a new zero-downtime deployment process, allowing us to continually push the latest code updates to servers without any disruption in service.

We have added the ability for clients to leave comments throughout the script. Comments can also be deleted and threads can be marked as resolved. Any of these actions will automatically push a notification to that production's Slack channel if your have enabled Slack in your server settings.

Script Elephant now supports the ability to duplicate a production. This is an excellent tool if you produce a similar show for certain clients on a regular cadence, and want to begin with a copy of the last production.
This includes a new screen that shows a detailed breakdown of exactly what objects from your last production will and won't copy over.
As with creating a new production, duplicating a production will use one of your production credits.

We have rolled out an updated user assignment model.
This is a robust, ground-up architecture change that gives you the ability to layer responsibilities for individual users at each production.
This means that freelancers, clients, and other members of your team can be entrusted with as much or as little responsibility on individual productions.
With Script Elephant, there is no charge for additional users, so you can create as many users as you like for free.

We've completed some heavy behind the scenes work to make the core Script Elephant engine fully containerized.
This means that deploying each customer server is now more streamlined, secured and consistent. In the event of any cloud or regional internet service interruption, we now have the capability of rapidly re-deploying any of our customer's servers to any cloud provider, to keep productions online at all times.

This was a full effort across the UI to ensure we created a balanced, beautiful experience across every page. It's the same Script Elephant you know and love, just buttoned up and ready for showtime.
