Admin Users

The first user account when you create your Script Elephant instance is an Admin User. You can make any other user an admin user by editing their account, scrolling to the bottom under Global Permissions, and checking the Admin checkbox.

Admin users have the following capabilities:

Account Settings & Integrations

• Access to the Settings page by clicking their user profile in the bottom right corner of each page
• The ability to create and edit Organizations
• Connecting the Slack and Dropbox integrations (Dropbox is available by on request)
• Seeing a list of all backups and the ability to restore from them

Users

• The ability to create and edit users, and reset their passwords.
• The ability to send users a new welcome email
• The ability to make any user an admin user

Productions

• The ability to create a new production
• The ability to duplicate a production
• The ability to see productions they have not been assigned to. These are visible under an "Unassigned Productions" list on the production dashboard. Any admin is able to assign themselves to any production.

Subscriptions

• Admin users will see warning banners when their Script Elephant subscription is nearing its expiration
• Admin users are still able to interact with their instance after their subscription expired, while all other users will see a more generic error message ("Please contact your production’s administrator for support").
